The secret to the perfect Hollandaise sauce? Never stop whisking! 🥄✨

Last week, our Juniors and Seniors tackled the daunting (but delicious!) task of creating a creamy Hollandaise sauce to serve over roasted veggies. 🥦🥕

We practiced how to:

Separate eggs
Use a double boiler
Emulsify egg yolks, lemon juice, and butter
Slowly add melted butter to achieve the perfect consistency
Plate like the pros! 👨‍🍳👩‍🍳
Hollandaise wraps up our month of classic mother sauces, and this week we’re turning up the flavor as we begin our September theme: The Spice Is Right! 🌶️🧂✨

Last week, we were all smiles for our Sauce Tomat! 🍅👨‍🍳

During our lessons, we focused on building a rich, flavorful tomato sauce using a classic mirepoix. Then, we put our sauce to work in a cheesy manicotti, where we practiced boiling pasta with the right "bite" and filling each piece using a piping bag! 🧀🍝

This week, we’re wrapping up our “Building Flavor Like a Chef” theme—and we’re going out with a bang! 💥
