Friends of St. Matthew Nursery and Preschool and St. Matthew Co-Op Nursery

On January 31, 2024, the preschool celebrated their 52nd birthday of being open! What a blessing the Nursery School has been throughout all of these years! Wonderful teachers and wonderful families! Happy Birthday and here's to many more years of getting children started on their path of love of education! God's work is evident!

Happy 51st Anniversary to St. Matthew Co-Op Nursery/Nursery and Preschool/ Preschool.

Another year has come and gone. This program wouldn't be what it is without having been started 51 yrs ago! Thankful that a group of loving moms wanted and offered an opportunity for families to give their children a positive beginning foundation to begin their school education!

Thank you to the teachers and committee members that I, personally, worked with during my time with the program as a parent and as a committee member/director.

May this ministry continue to be a ministry to the families and these young learners.

Today is the 50th Anniversary of the St. Matthew Co-Op Nursery school. It's changed names and formats over these last 50 years but the ministry of sharing God's love with children and teaching them to love school has never changed!

Many of us are blessed to have attended the program ourselves and then have our own children attend. And, some have had their grandchildren attend the program.

May the program continue to appreciate the foundation that it's been given and continue to minister to the children of our community in preparing them for school.

Thank you to each and every teacher we have had, every director, every helping parent and every aide and most importantly every student that has been a part of these 50 years of ministry.

Who knows why Jan. 31 is a special date in our history?

Happy 49th anniversary to the SMLC Nursery School. Things have drastically changed since the preschool started but the foundation is still firm. Thank you to every teacher whoever taught at the school and for every parent that every "helped" at the school. You have not been forgotten and you were and are appreciated. We are grateful that God had this program in his plan for many of us.
