Creating A Pathway For Growth

Boy oh boy have my students been working hard!!! From research papers complete with the dreaded note cards and citations, preparation for standardized testing, to learning the basic yet overlooked skill of note-taking they are definitely rocking it!!!! I’m so proud of their individual progress and success❤️.

I adore these rewrites❤️! Teachers, please take the time to find the positive, and recognize it’s never a lack of trying. Learning differences are REAL! Problem-solving and creativity is much more helpful to students and parents than criticism and judgement.

The summer learning months are my favorite time of year! I definitely enjoy the summer months so much because my students and I have more freedom and time to work on various life skills, and executive functioning rather than assigned school tasks. Additionally, I find moving forward they are better prepared for their upcoming grade by closing any previous academic skill gaps. Thus far I’ve been so impressed by their unique knowledge, recall, funny stories, overall willingness, and positive attitudes! It’s not always easy for kids to pull away from the IPAD, games, summer camp, playing with friends, and social media.
I truly do have the best job ❤️!

On Friday we get to write ✍️ about any topic we choose! Apparently last week macaroni and cheese and I were the most popular topics 😊.
