So happy our students could help make CCES flower bar a success!

Juniors and Seniors in Horticulture practiced landscape design skills and then followed up by building a 3-D model of their design!!

This assignment allowed students to showcase their creativity not only in design, but also in building their model!

9th grade students wrapped up plant anatomy by creating models of flowers to review! Scroll to the last 4 pictures and vote for you favorite model in each category…

Harford Tech Horticulture is in need of holiday evergreens for student projects!! We have used almost all of our greens and its still early in the month and there are no more to order!!

Message us here or at [email protected] if you can help!

You can drop off any day right by our greenhouse!! No amount is too small!

Our wishlist...
White Pine, Leyland Cypress, Fraser Fir, Holly, Noble Fit, Blue Spruce, Magnolia leaves or any any any evergreens we can use in flower arrangements!! Pieces of christmas trees or prunings would be great too!

Harford Tech Horticulture

This week juniors and seniors in the horticulture program taught future links students how to make centerpieces for the Hartford county employee recognition luncheon!

 Seniors Olivia Melvern and Kami Culver lead the lessons while other horticulture students worked with small groups!

Two future links students were recipients of awards at the luncheon so it made this collaboration project extra special!
