Did you know that Beeville ISD is serving FREE meals to all community students this summer while also providing fun, hands-on learning opportunities?

At our H.M.D Summer Nutrition Learning Lab, students and families can enjoy:

✅ Family Engagement Activities
✅ Healthy Recipe Ideas
✅ Student-Led Activities

One of the highlights so far has been our Learning Labs, where students are learning about healthy foods while having fun. We've received wonderful feedback from families, and many parents have shared how much their children enjoy participating in activities such as making their own smoothies and trying new foods.
This is just one of the many ways Beeville ISD is working to support students throughout the summer by combining nutrition, education, and family engagement into one exciting experience.

🏆🍎 Beeville ISD Earns Second Place for “Growing Strong Texas Trojans” Celebration! 🍎🏆

We are proud to announce that Beeville ISD earned Second Place for our districtwide “Growing Strong Texas Trojans” celebration in recognition of our outstanding participation in Texas Fruit & Vegetable Day!

Led by the Beeville ISD Child Nutrition Department, this special event brought Texas-grown fruits and vegetables to life across our campuses while promoting healthy habits, student wellness, and an appreciation for Texas agriculture.

🌟 Students and staff enjoyed:
🍓 A strawberry costume and Texas fruit bar at AC Jones High School
🍉 Colorful fruit cups at Moreno Junior HighSchool
🥕 Fruit- and vegetable-themed staff participation at R.A. Hall Elementary
🌽 Creative carrot and corn balloon displays at FMC Elementary and The Erasmo Rodriguez STEM Academy
🍊 A Texas grapefruit Easter Bunny visit at HMD Early Childhood Center
We also proudly showcased Texas-grown produce from communities across our great state, including strawberries from Poteet, grapefruit from Edinburg, cherry tomatoes from Marfa, spring mix from Belton, romaine lettuce from Pleasanton, red cabbage from Hondo, and Texas English cucumbers.

This recognition reflects the hard work, creativity, and dedication of our Child Nutrition team, campus staff, and students who helped make healthy eating fun, engaging, and memorable.

🎉🌞 WHAT AN INCREDIBLE START TO SUMMER! 🌞🎉

Our 2026 Summer Meals Kick-Off was a HUGE success, and we couldn't have done it without our amazing community partners!

🍔🌭 A special thank you to the Bee County Area Go Texan Scholarship Foundation for grilling up delicious hamburgers and hot dogs, and to the BISD Trojan Grill team for serving our students and families.

🍧 We also want to give a HUGE shoutout to the Beeville ISD ACE 21st Century Program for providing FREE snow cones that helped everyone stay cool while enjoying the festivities!

🎵🎤 A huge shoutout to ACL Production for providing the music and helping create a fun, energetic atmosphere that kept the celebration going all day long!

Seeing so many children and families come together for food, fun, and fellowship made this event truly unforgettable. ❤️
