The goal of the program is to prepare low-income, potential first-generation college-bound students for success in post-secondary education.
Students attending a target school in George West, Sinton, or Odem must qualify in order to be selected. Eligibility Requirements
Students must be:
1. Low income and/or potential first-generation college (neither parent has a bachelor's degree)
2. At least 13 years old
3. Entering the 9th - 12th grade of high school
4. Be a student attending a target school
5. Be a citizen, national, or permanent

This past weekend, our UBR students tackled on getting prepared for ACT testing and applying at CBC for our summer program. They also got the opportunity to work on resumes and explore their personal skills. After a long morning of working on the computer, the students were rewarded with a nice lunch at Sammy's, and they were able to complete team building exercises by playing outdoor games and interacting with one another. We are so proud of our students!

REMINDER!!!
We have a GREAT meeting this Saturday, April 23rd! There will be something for EVERYONE! From TSI Testing to make sure you are set and ready for summer- we will have the Family Planning Clinic here administering the bacterial meningitis vaccine (required to stay on campus in the dorms!)
