Hornet Park Families…A friendly reminder that as we were just notified of a 2hr delay for tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan 28….Hornet Park will not have breakfast available.
Our cafeteria staff will be working on preparing lunch as soon as we get into school.

Hello Hornet Park Families...

We are going to have some holiday shopping time this week for our students.

Let me first tell you the dates and then I can explain what Holiday Shopping is.

Kindergarten holiday shopping will be on Tuesday, December 16th.
Pre-K Students will have shopping time on Wednesday, December 17th.
First grade students will shop on Thursday, December 18th.

Now what does Holiday Shopping look like:

We will be using our Happy Hive cart and loading it up with holiday shopping items. These items are things like mugs for mom, dad, grandpa, grandma, necklaces, ear rings, bottle openers, multiple items to gift to mom and dad, siblings and other family members, pens, books, etc...you name it, we probably got it!

All items are the cart are $4.00 each. (Cash only)

An envelope will be coming home Monday that you can return with your student on their shopping day. The envelopes have areas where you can mark who you would like your child to shop for as these are meant to be purchasing for Christmas gifts.
(Only students with money will be called out to shop the cart.)

I wanted to put out a reminder…
On 2 hour delay days….

We are not able to serve breakfast…please make sure your child eats breakfast at home…
AM Bus routes will be 2 hrs out from your normal time…
We start letting students in the building at 9:15….

Good Morning Hornet Park Families…
Just a couple reminders about Halloween at school tomorrow.

Students are allowed to wear costumes. However, the costumes cannot be scary type costumes, they cannot wear face masks of any kind.
We want to make sure students are able to use the restroom easily with their costumes and also please know the children will go outside and will have to remain in costumes. Students will NOT take costumes off for the playground.

Friday was the end of our chocolate bar sales/fundraiser!
If you have open boxes of chocolate bars, we cannot take those back.

Please make sure all money is turned in by this Wednesday, September 17th.
