You can be affirmed by God and still find yourself in a fight you never expected.

Jesus came out of the waters of baptism with the heavens open, the Spirit descending, and the Father declaring His pleasure. Then the very next chapter says, “Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness…”

Sometimes the battle isn’t proof that something went wrong. Sometimes the biggest surprise is not just what you’re facing, but where God is leading, how the enemy is working, and what God is preparing to send.

This morning, we’re closing out our Uncommon Battles series with a message entitled:

“I DIDN’T SEE THAT COMING”

How True Believers Worship
What does worship actually look like—and who gets to decide?
We often hear statements like, “I worship God in my own way” or “It doesn’t take all of that.” But as believers, our worship cannot be based solely on our preferences, personalities, or traditions. If we want to worship God, we should allow God’s Word to teach us how He desires to be worshiped.
In this study, we’ll examine Jesus’ teaching that true worshipers must worship the Father “in spirit and truth” and explore the different expressions of worship found throughout Scripture.

� What expressions of worship does Scripture actually teach?
� How does worship extend beyond what happens during a church service?
We’ll also discover that worship is more than singing, shouting, lifting our hands, or any other outward expression. According to Romans 12, true worship ultimately requires surrendering our lives to God.
Join us for another practical study in our True Believers series as we learn not simply to worship God according to our way, but to worship Him according to His truth.

Legion said, “We are many.”
But they were standing in front of ONE who was UNMATCHED.

This morning, we’re continuing our Uncommon Battles series with “UNMATCHED.” The Bible reminds us that what nobody else could control, restrain, or overcome was still subject to the authority of Jesus!
