Family Week at ASU-Beebe celebrates the people who stand behind our students and help them succeed both inside and outside the classroom. Whether a parent, grandparent, sibling, friend, mentor, or another member of their support network, it truly takes a village to encourage, motivate, and support students throughout their college journey. The week will feature a community concert, virtual opportunities for families to connect and engage from afar, and nominations for the Family of the Year award. Family Week is an opportunity for the ASU-Beebe community to recognize, celebrate, and thank the people who cheer our students on, encourage them through challenges, and help them reach their goals.

Uncharted Literary and Art Magazine and ASUB Publishing Studio was well represented at the Back-to-Beebe Bash today. Uncharted Intern, Keaton Belote; Associate Professor, Cindy Beck; Associate Professor, Jodi Whitehurst; and the "Queen of Advising" and former Dean of Arts and Humanities, Teddy Davis spoke to numerous students about the opportunity to be published as an ASUB student. This year's event had a record turnout.

Dr. Jodi Whitehurst, Associate Professor of English, presented information to the Foundations of Digital Media class, taught by Mr. Thomas Fernandez, Associate Professor of Art, to guide them in their design of the Central Arkansas Writers Conference (CAWC) 2027 promotional materials. ASU-Beebe faculty participate in collaborations like this to provide project-based assignments for students.

Some big news for creative writers at ASU-Beebe and UALR: Arkansas State University-Beebe and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock just signed an articulation agreement for creative writing. This means that when students take classes on the creative writing course list at ASU-Beebe and transfer to UALR, they will enter seamlessly into the creative writing program as third year students. It's a day to celebrate!

🎓 Planning for college just got easier!

Arkansas State University-Beebe has unveiled a brand-new online tuition calculator and a simplified 3-tier tuition model that begins this Fall. The new tool helps students and families estimate tuition costs based on their class schedule while providing greater transparency about college expenses.

The calculator is now available for students attending campuses in Beebe, Searcy, Heber Springs and Little Rock Air Force Base.
