The Adult Learning Center is a FREE program at Middlesex Community College offering Adult Basic Education classes for students who need their high school equivalency (GED or HiSet) or need to improve their skills, including English. Located on the Bedford Campus of Middlesex Community College, the program provides Adult Basic Education in reading, writing and math, as well as basic computer skills
. The Adult Learning Center is dedicated to serving adults who live in Massachusetts and:
• offers classes to students preparing for HiSet and GED testing, attending college
or obtaining employment,
• recognizes and respects the diversity of our students,
• provides students with individual attention in small classes,
• provides a non-threatening learning environment,
• encourages continued education. We also provide a Transition to College program called Links, which is designed for students who have completed a GED, HiSET or have a high school diploma and are ready to transition to college.
