Hello everyone! This is Samantha and my daughter Cora attended the Co Op! Even though we are closed, I still wanted to share this with all of the Co-Op families :) . Its about another Co-Op family -The Griffith's!

I am EXCITED to introduce to you, my friend, Adam Griffith! His son, Solomon went to the Bedford Co Op when Cora did and they are great friends to the myself and the Bedford Community! 😍 He wrote a BOOK and it's AMAZING! WE ARE HIRING!

3-day Preschool Teacher (3-5 year olds) for the Bedford Co-Op Preschool

The Bedford Co-Op Preschool is looking to grow with a new Part-Time position. We are seeking a dedicated individual for our 3-day class, teaching students aged 3-5. This person would be responsible for working collaboratively with a Director, along with parents/families of the preschool. Applicants must meet all state requirements for a Licensed Child Care Center Staff Member. The Co-Op will reimburse any certifications. The position requires lesson planning, completing assessments, conducting parent conferences, and weekly/monthly documentation in accordance with our licensing.

Qualifications:

Current on all state requirements for a Licensed Child Care Center Staff Member

Minimum of at least 2 year experience in a classroom setting required

Ability to lift 30+ pounds and move quickly

Negative TB test

Pass State and Federal background check

CPR/First Aid certified

Benefits:
Salary compensation paid out twice monthly, on the 15th and 30th
Bonuses bi-annually
The ability to enroll in continuing education class to grow professionally
Summer off; Our school calendar runs from September-May

Skills: The ideal candidate has the skills to create a productive yet loving environment that will allow children the ability to grow while also providing parents with the proper communication to help their child(ren) succeed. A knowledge of cooperative style learning is a plus!

Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who participated in our Adult Egg Hunt: Quarantine Edition! Because of all of you it was a huge success, and helped our preschool immensely. We appreciate each & every one of you for sticking with us even though we couldn’t have our event. We hope to see all of you at next years hunt!

I want to give a huge thank you to Miss Brenda & Mel, who logged on every single day of May to pull names on Facebook Live! We all had so much fun watching you!
