SHADES OF STRENGTH: UNITING AGAINST CANCER

On Thursday, October 8th, Bedford City School District will come together to recognize and support those whose lives have been impacted by all forms of cancer.

Cancer affects our families, friends, colleagues and communities in many different ways — and every awareness ribbon tells a story. Throughout BCSD, we’re encouraging our students, staff, families and community to join us in showing that together, we can make a difference.

💚💜💙💛🧡🩷 Wear a color representing a cancer that has impacted you or someone you care about, and help us fill our schools with Shades of Strength.

Donations are also being collected at any Bedford City School District building, with proceeds benefiting The Minority Women with Breast Cancer Uniting Inc. and The Gathering Place.

Whether you wear a ribbon, make a donation or simply help spread awareness, we invite all of Bearcat Nation to stand together on October 8th.

Every color has meaning. Every story matters. Together, we are stronger.
