re community of Coronado, CA, including the Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club, Coronado CableVision, High School principal, journalism and multi-media teachers, local entrepreneurs and mentors, helped students discover and develop their own Heroic potential. They asked the following Heroes questions:
"Who are the Heroes in your life?"
"How do people become Heroes?"
"Who are the unsung Heroes not getting the recognition they deserve?"
"Why are Heroes important in young people's lives?"
Students created newsletters, websites and videos to spread the Good News about neighbors, family members, friends and community residents who were helping others without expectation of reward or recognition. Now, in 2014, the goal of the In Search Of Heroes Program is to teach students, parents and grandparents how to use Google Plus, Hangouts Live and Youtube, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn to interview and promote the Heroes in their families, schools, communities.
