BHS Model United Nations Thank you for your interest in joining Bedford High School's Model United Nations delegation.

We are excited to get going on the preparation for our second year in the MUN circuit. Please see below for our delegation's requirements and expectations:

Attendance: It is expected that MUN delegates attend all meetings as outline in the proposed calendar. Your attendance record will influence your eligibility for the conference. Participation: It is expected that every member actively particip

ate in each meeting. It is expected that every member participate in all fundraising activities. Performance: Your performance as an international diplomat will be measured throughout the MUN process. Please remember that you are not expected to be an ace delegate on day one, but rather that you are working towards becoming a conscientious and confident delegate as the year progresses. Your performance will also play a role in determining your eligibility to attend the conference. Conduct: It is expected that each member exhibit the highest form of conduct throughout the MUN process. We will talk about many international issues that impact individuals in different ways. We expect open-minded and respectful dialogue, as being a MUN delegate requires your to look at sensitive issues from a variety of perspectives.

***Please note that all meetings will be conducted according to HMUN standards, that is a combination of Parliamentary Procedure and Robert's Rules.***

Preparation: It is expected that every member comes to MUN meetings prepared and ready to work. Although the experience of being a MUN delegate is invaluable, it also takes hard work and dedication. Proper research and preparation are a must in order to be successful.
