Nashoba Learning Group Providing help for those with autism - and hope for their families. NLG was founded in 2002 to offer a different life trajectory for individuals with Autism.

Today NLG's School provides outstanding, individualized education, training, and intervention services for students aged 3 to 22 with Autism spectrum disorders. NLG's rapidly growing Adult Program opened in 2013, providing ongoing support to adults with Autism.

🎣 So much joy, connection, and community at Fishin’ with a Mission!

From casting a line by the water to face painting, bounce-house fun, big smiles, and time spent together, it was a day filled with moments worth celebrating. We loved being part of an event that brought families, friends, volunteers, and supporters together in support of the autism community and Nashoba Learning Group.

Beautiful weather means a chance to take learning outside! One of our students enjoyed working on their skills while soaking up the sunshine and fresh air. 💙

At NLG, learning can happen anywhere—and sometimes a change of scenery makes the day that much brighter! ☀️

After caring for this butterfly from its days as a tiny caterpillar, our student had the incredible opportunity to release it into the world. Experiences like these inspire curiosity, responsibility, and a deeper connection with nature—while creating unforgettable moments of joy.

Every small step in the journey is worth celebrating. 💙

One year ago, NLG's Expansion space opened its doors, creating new opportunities for learning, independence, and meaningful work through The Giving Closet—our store with purpose.

Every donation sorted, every rack stocked, and every customer welcomed helps our members build valuable vocational skills while giving back to the community.

Nashoba Learning Group is proud to share that two leaders in our organization have been appointed by Governor Maura Healey to the Commonwealth’s Strategy to Support Adults with Profound Autism Advisory Council. Long time Board member Amit Basak will be the co-chair of the Council. Liz Martineau, NLG’s Founder and CEO will serve as a member of the Council.

These appointments recognize Amit and Liz’s longtime leadership in providing innovative services for those with Profound Autism, and advocating on behalf of this underserved community. NLG is grateful to Governor Healey for her leadership in addressing the lifelong needs of those with Profound Autism. Amit and Liz bring their skill and passion for this work to the Council, including their perspective as parents of adults with Profound Autism.
