Today is Coaches Appreciation Day!

A huge shout-out to all of our Harwood coaches who give their time, energy, and heart to our student-athletes. Our coaches do so much more than teach a sport, they encourage, motivate, build confidence, and teach lessons that go far beyond the game.

A special thank you to Harwood PTA for helping us celebrate our amazing coaches today with a special treat!

We appreciate everything our coaches do for our Blackhawks, both on and off the field and court

We had an incredibly successful inaugural Saturday Serve at Harwood last weekend! Volunteers included: 21 students, 5 staff members, 7 Harwood parent / family members, 3 future Blackhawks, and 4 representatives from our incredible sponsor this month, Christian Brothers Automotive! Christian Brothers spoiled our teachers with snacks, coffee, cups, cleaning supplies, and adorable car-themed decorations! Our students and volunteers were hard at work doing projects such as: cleaning / reorganizing the staff lounge, redecorating 4 bulletin boards, organizing a decorations closet and work room, freshening up a display case, tidying the cafeteria and lost and found, and writing notes to their teachers. The day ended with some lanyard pins for our volunteers and a student-led walk around campus to identify future projects that our students would love to work on!

Our Blackhawk Family showed up, worked hard, and helped improve Harwood!
