Harwood Junior High School

Harwood Junior High School Harwood JH is a public school in Bedford, TX and part of the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School In addition, there are four PC Computer Labs on campus.

Harwood Junior High has an enrollment of approximately 1,000 seventh, eighth, and ninth grade students and a staff of 85. Harwood offers pre-AP/pre-IB classes in language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. The class size average is 22/1. Teachers offer tutoring sessions each school day from 7:45 - 8:05 A.M. or 3:15 - 3:45 P.M.

We’re kicking off pep rally season with a USA theme! On Friday, let’s deck the halls in RED, WHITE & BLUE and fill Harwood with Blackhawk spirit!

Thank You, Harwood PTA!

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing Harwood PTA for working so hard last year to make 8 new picnic tables for our cafeteria courtyard a reality!

Through fundraising, seeking grants, and securing donations, our PTA was able to provide this wonderful addition to our campus.

These tables will give students and staff a great outdoor space for lunch, outdoor learning, group activities, and so much more throughout the year.

This is PTA support at work—finding resources and creating opportunities that make a lasting difference for our students and staff!

Thank you, Harwood PTA, for continuing to invest in our campus and our Blackhawk community!

Last night, our newest Blackhawks kicked off their Harwood experience at the Sevie Social, hosted by our amazing Harwood PTA!

Students had an incredible time dancing, enjoying snacks, and capturing memories with a group picture. We loved seeing so many of our 7th graders having fun, making new friends, and feeling right at home at Harwood!

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing teachers, staff, and volunteers who gave up their Friday night to be here and help make this event special. Your time and dedication help ensure that our newest Blackhawks know they are welcomed, supported, and part of the Harwood family from day one.
