SOL season is rapidly approaching. If you didn't know, there will be a raffle at LMS with prizes for students. For every SOL they pass, they will earn 1 ticket toward the raffle; 2 tickets if they pass with an advanced score. This is a way of generating some excitement around end of year assessments. The PTA is partnering with the school to help find any prizeworthy donations from community partners. Some ideas include gift cards, themed baskets (like movie night, sports, summer, etc), and fidgets (like needoh cubes). We're open to other suggestions or donations and we know the school--especially the students--will be grateful for the extra support!

The PTA Spring Dance is Friday April 17 from 4-5:30. Students will need to turn in a signed Permission slip and $5 to their homeroom teacher in order to participate. Parents, be on the lookout for permission slips coming home from school. Students need to have signed permission slips and their $5 entry fee turned in no later than Thursday 10/16 in order to attend.
