Today, Messenger College officially closed on the sale of our student housing, The Commons.
Seasons of transition are often accompanied by both sadness and excitement. While Messenger College is excited about the future, we also want to take a moment to recognize all that God did in the lives of those who lived in and visited The Commons.
From 2012 until today, The Commons was more than an apartment complex for our staff and students; it was home. It witnessed some of life's greatest struggles, triumphs, transitions, and seasons of growth. Within those walls, people were baptized, worshipped together, formed lifelong friendships, navigated relationships, learned valuable lessons, discovered their calling, and, most importantly, heard from God.
No matter how much time you spent at The Commons, chances are you have a story to tell.
So, let's take a moment to remember the good things God has done there...the moments that changed the trajectory of our lives for the better and the moments that drew us closer to Jesus.
If you have lived in or visited The Commons over the years, we would love for you to share your favorite memories in the comments. Tag your roommates. Post pictures from your favorite dorm room moments. Post if you lived in that apartment and share your favorite memories. Tell us if you were baptized in the pool, received the gift of the Holy Spirit, gave your life to Christ, found freedom, or made friendships that have lasted a lifetime. Let's reminisce together and celebrate the experiences that connected us as the Messenger College family living in The Commons.
And then, let's join together in celebrating the next chapter of Messenger College. We believe God has incredible things ahead, and the future is bright!
Thank you, The Commons, for the memories. Now, we are thanking God for all He has done and for all He has yet to do. ❤️💙🦅
