Our Spring Fling is an annual, carnival-themed fundraiser that lets Primrose students experience the joy of giving back to families in their community and beyond. This year, through fun auctions, games, food and more, children helped raise more than $560,000 for local charities and the Primrose Schools Partnership for Children℠. ​

We’re grateful to every family who helped make this year’s Spring Fling so special — and helped children discover that kindness can grow into real community impact. 🌸🌱 ​

Just like any skill, friendship skills grow with practice. 🌱 Here are a few ways to help your child feel more confident connecting with others: ​

👀 Be a model friend ​
Children learn by watching. Show kindness, patience and active listening in your everyday interactions. ​

🧸 Practice with puppets or stuffed animals ​
Pretend play can help children act out social situations, practice words to use and explore what friendship looks like. ​

📚 Read stories about friendship​
Story time is one of the best ways to teach your child what it means to be a good friend, so snuggle up with a good read, like:​
📖 “A Bug, a Bear, and a Boy” by David McPhail​
📖 “Hunter’s Best Friend at School” by Laura Malone Elliott​
📖 “The Story of Fish and Snail” by Deborah Freedman​

🤝 Start with one-on-one play dates ​

David’s House
David’s House offers families a "home away from home", for an unexpected/emergency visit to Dartmouth Hospital in Lebanon, NH. Earlier this year, David’s House made a HUGE difference to one of our school’s families, whose baby was born prematurely at 29 weeks. David’s House took a huge burden off the family as they navigated & juggled a new baby in the NICU and a young toddler at home.

American Heart Association - NH
Two of our staff members experienced severe, unexpected heart conditions earlier this year - a spouse experienced a heart attack while another team member required emergency heart surgery in Boston, resulting in an unexpected leave of absence for both. We are pleased to report that in both cases, both family members have recovered successfully, making full recoveries.

Each year Spring Fling is a major event celebrating our school’s children and community which we thoroughly enjoy. As FUN as this is, we take great satisfaction in contributing/donating the proceeds in making a difference in the lives of young children/families.
