We started at the Bedford parade and ended at the Shoals Catfish Festival. Great day, but very hot.

We want to THANK Mikels Signs LLC and the North Lawrence Stars Middle School Soccer teams for volunteering their time and service to honor our nation's flag at Bedford's America 250 Parade this Saturday, July 4th.

BE THERE at 16th & I Street around 11:30am for the impressive flag raising ceremony.

Cody Ikerd will perform our National Anthem and Mayor Sam Craig will read the City Proclamation and honor our parade Grand Marshal Lawrence Circuit Court - Judge Nathan G. Nikirk.

The Lawrence County America 250 committee has organized a military flyover, approaching from the west, over 16th Street at noon.

The America 250 Parade steps off shortly thereafter.
