🥔🌱 From Our Garden to Our Lunch Trays!🌱🥔

Yesterday’s potatoes served at lunch came straight from our very own LCIS garden that our students from last year planted. Our students and staff loved getting to enjoy something that was grown right here at school. 💙💛

A big THANK YOU to our amazing kitchen staff for preparing the potatoes and helping turn our garden harvest into a delicious lunch for everyone!

There is something pretty special about seeing our students experience the full journey from planting and growing to harvesting and eating!*🌱➡️🥔➡️🍽️

What a great way to kick off the volleyball season! Our student-athletes played an excellent game this evening against Shoals!👏🔥

We are so proud of the effort, teamwork, and determination our girls showed on the court. It’s clear this team is ready to work hard and make this a great season!

📚✨ Learning Beyond the Classroom!✨📚

Our Cadet Teachers are getting the opportunity to step into classrooms and share their passions during our Passions Class! ❤️

Today, we had a future teacher leading students through a reading activity, gaining real-world experience while inspiring younger learners along the way. What better way to explore a passion for education than by actually getting to teach? 🍎📖

We love giving our students opportunities to discover their interests, build confidence, and develop skills that will serve them well beyond the classroom.

Who knows…we may be watching some of our future educators in action!** 👏🍎💙
