Happy birthday, trees! This week we have been learning about and celebrating Tu B'Shevat, by reading about trees, planting, and discussing all the wonderful things we get from trees (shade, fruit, syrup and more!). We sang Tu B'shevat songs, learned about the different parts of trees, and had a Tu B'shevat seder.

We made thankful wall hangings, and beautiful centerpieces and fall placemats for our Thanksgiving tables. We baked pumpkin cookies and corn muffins for our in-school Thanksgiving feasts. We also baked brownies and cookies to donate to some of the 3500+ Thanksgiving meals that our community prepares for people in need. We wish all our ECC families a happy and healthy Thanksgiving! We are so thankful for all of you and your beautiful children!! May you have a holiday that is filled with delicious food, special time with family and friends and lots of laughter.
