Planning for our Under the Moon Harvest Carnival is officially underway! 🎃

We’d love to invite anyone interested to join us for our first planning meeting for the 2026 Carnival!

🗓 July 17
🕕 6:00 PM
📍 Beckville ISD Admin Building

One of the biggest misconceptions is that volunteering means giving up weeks of your time. The truth is, there are opportunities to help at every level. Whether you have several weeks to give or just one hour on carnival day, we’d love to have you!

Ways you can help include:

✨ Before the Carnival
• Gather donations for bingo, raffles, and the silent auction
• Help organize booths and recruit volunteers
• Assist with planning and behind-the-scenes preparations

🎪 Carnival Day
• Set up before the event
• Work a booth for an hour (or longer if you’d like!)
• Help with tickets, bingo, raffles, or the costume contest

🧹 After the Carnival
• Help tear down and clean up

This carnival is one of our community’s favorite traditions, and it’s only possible because of volunteers who are willing to give a little of their time. There is NO commitment by attending the meeting—we’d simply love to share our plans, answer questions, and help you find a way to get involved that fits your schedule.

Today the Beckville Education Foundation had the privilege of presenting the Charles C. Matthews Scholarships to our 2026 graduating seniors. 💙

Through the Charles C. Matthews Foundation, each student received a $1,250 scholarship as they step into their next chapter. We are proud of each of you and excited to see what your future holds.

Because of every person who showed up, donated, volunteered, sponsored, bought a ticket— there is over $21,000 being poured right back into our students and teachers!!

Smiles, laughter, and lots of hard work behind the scenes! 🎠🎉 Our BISD Education Foundation's "Under the Harvest Moon" Carnival was a blast, and we couldn’t have done it without an incredible team and an even better community. Thanks to everyone who helped make the day unforgettable! See you next year!
