Shenanigans with elevators!

The more we grow this program, the more grateful I am for community and support. Yesterday evening, a few of the teachers that I am working with came to help me put the finishing touches on our borrowed fields from Fairmont State. No, no one else is using this equipment right now. Thank you all for getting done in less than two hours what would have taken me at least 4. So very grateful.

So it begins, camp at Marshall University

Last load in Huntington to prep a drone camp. So grateful for help, support, and random storage spots so that I’m not making three trips to Fairmont in one day next week to set up. While the pattern might have been hard to see, getting the drone equipment where it needs to be has worked out very well. And it’s a good excuse to connect with friends.

Today, we worked on advertising. Nerds, STEMExperts, whatever you want to call us are not great at selling ourselves or our program. These two did a great job starting to put together a first rate display that’s inviting. The display reads “The higher we fly, the smaller problems seem!”

We were honored last night to have the Women in Black interviewed by WVNS. Can’t wait to share this with the rest of you!
And today we have the opportunity to watch one of our most dedicated Seniors graduate— can’t wait to see what he does!

Such a wonderful opportunity for our students, supported by our parents and community. Thank you to all who have supported us from April 2025 - May 2026! We’ve already started on April 2026 to May 2027.
