We are so proud of Amanda! From her first-year as a nervous college student to her senior year as WVU Tech Student Government Association President, Amanda has taken every opportunity afforded her to learn and grow into the person she is today! We can't wait to see what the future holds for her!
Let’s take a moment to celebrate one more of our Spring 2026 graduates! Amanda Williams is a West Virginia native from Shady Springs. Amanda studies forensic investigations here at Tech.
Amanda says “WVU Tech has become a second family to me. I know so many people here and absolutely love the faculty and staff who work here. I wouldn't be the person I am today or have accomplished all that I have without them. They have all made such a huge impact on my life that I cannot fully express it in words. They have made me feel prepared to move on to the next chapter of my life, but I am sad to have to leave all these amazing people here.”
After graduation, Amanda will be working for the Department of Justice in Clarksburg, WV. We want to celebrate Amanda and all the other graduates’ successes this year! 🎓
Spring 2026 Commencement Ceremony will be held May 9, 2026, 10 a.m. at the Beckley-Raleigh County Convention Center.

During his time at WVU Tech, Phil has guided thousands of students through their math courses, and many credit him with helping them earn their degrees.
