Today, we proudly celebrated the official signing of a new partnership between Valley College and Appalachian Regional Healthcare (ARH) at our Beckley Campus!

This partnership will create new opportunities for eligible ARH employees to further their education, grow their skills, and advance their careers through scholarship opportunities at Valley College.

We were thrilled to celebrate this milestone alongside Valley College and ARH representatives, students, employees, community leaders, and friends. A special thank you to Congresswoman Carol Miller and her office, ARH CEO Todd Howell, CEO and President of the Chamber of Commerce, Michelle Rotellini, and many others.

Together, we’re investing in education, career growth, and a stronger healthcare workforce for our communities.

“Valley College is proud to partner with ARH to help remove financial barriers that can prevent individuals from pursuing their educational and career goals,” said Campus Director Jamie Holliday. “We know that investing in education is an investment in our communities, our students, and the future of healthcare. This partnership gives ARH employees an opportunity to continue their education while preparing themselves for advancement and greater opportunities within the healthcare profession.”

ARH, which operates hospitals and healthcare facilities throughout the region, employs thousands of healthcare professionals and support staff. By partnering with Valley College, ARH employees can pursue additional education while continuing to contribute to the communities they serve.
