The 2025-2026 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is anticipated to be open for all students on or before December 1, 2024. The U.S. Department of Education has delayed it this year to run testing to optimize the FAFSA. The WVU Hub will announce when it is available!

The 2024-2025 Student Health Insurance Waiver is available now! You will need to complete the waiver by the deadline of July 26. If you do not, you will be automatically enrolled in a WVU-sponsored Aetna student health insurance plan. This must be done each academic year! Please make sure to get your FAFSA complete as soon as you can. Remember we are here if you need assistance!

To help alleviate some student and parent stress due to the delayed FAFSA timeline as well as the current inability to make corrections, we are removing the priority FAFSA submission deadline requirement for the 2024-2025 aid year. It is still in the students’ best interest to submit their FAFSA as early as possible. The June 1 deadline for institutional scholarships is still in place.

WVU Tech will be closed on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 due to inclement weather. Only select essential personnel notified by their supervisor are to report. See more details at wvutech.edu.
