Power has been restored and Dreamland will be open regular schedule tomorrow. However, due to continued thunderstorms and flooding we are postponing our last water day until next Wednesday August 19th. ⛈️⚡️

I cannot believe the summer is almost over!! With that being said sadly we have to let our college girls and Elementary teachers go back to school and we will be hiring again. We are now hiring for an infant and 2 year old teacher. Hours range between 7 am and 6 pm Monday through Friday. Must be amazing with children and have a true passion for watching them learn and grow! You must be 18 years old or older, have a high school diploma or equivalent. Required to pass a WV Cares background check and APS/CPS screening! WVIT certification preferred, however, will interview if willing to enroll in WVIT or ACDS, sign up for WV STARS and complete all mandatory trainings which include 18 hours of trainings/continuing education classes yearly and have/obtain your CPR/First aid certification.
Your duties would consist of working with the children one on one, teaching them basic skills and being a positive role model for our children. Duties would also include assisting the teacher with the daily schedule and meal times.

Due to the predicted weather for today of strong thunderstorms starting this morning water day for the infant toddler side and pool day for the young school age will be canceled. ⛈️⚡️☔️

Please make sure to send your child in their bathing suit with cover up or clothes over it, water friendly shoes, and a bag with labeled clothes and towel! If your child is in diapers/pull up please send swim diapers! We are also accepting donations of bubbles and popsicles! 😎🌊🏖️

Reminder to all Raleigh County Parents: We are not permitted to accept school age children until Wednesday June 10th when school is officially out. Also please call the center if you are doing a part time spot so we can get the days you are coming on the calender.
