The Academy of Careers and Technology is thrilled to announce that, for the second year in a row, it has been recognized on USA TODAY’s prestigious list of America’s Top Vocational Schools. The 2026 rankings, released in partnership with global research firm Statista, highlight ACT’s ongoing excellence in vocational education and dedication to preparing students for their future.
This national recognition is a testament to the unwavering commitment, expertise, and passion of our faculty and staff. Their hard work has not only propelled ACT to the top tier of vocational institutions across the country, but has also advanced our mission: “Preparing students for their future.”
The USA TODAY rankings evaluate schools based on rigorous criteria, including graduation rates, graduate salaries, time required to pay off net costs, social mobility, and diversity, with data gathered from respected sources such as IPEDS and the College Scorecard. ACT’s continued presence on this list underscores our success in hands-on education, career readiness, and workforce development.
Kevin Bolen, School Administrator, shares:
“Being recognized for the second consecutive year as one of America’s Top Vocational Schools is both an honor and a powerful affirmation of the work happening every day at ACT. Our faculty and staff are the foundation of this achievement, and it is their dedication to student growth and workforce preparation that makes this recognition possible.”
ACT works closely with industry partners to ensure our curriculum is aligned with current workforce needs, enabling students to graduate with relevant, high-demand skills for immediate employment opportunities—often without the burden of long-term student debt.
We congratulate and thank every member of our faculty and staff for their commitment to excellence and for making a meaningful difference in the lives of our students and the broader community.
