The Kinnaman students from our Independent Skills Center students had a blast at the annual Special Education Track & Field Day! 💙💛

🧪🚀 Kinnaman took over OMSI for the night!
Students and families explored, experimented, and most of all, had a great time!
Thanks to OMSI for hosting such a fun night of science and engineering adventures!

Kinnaman students ran their hearts out, circled lap after lap, and enjoyed the sunny day for the annual Jog-A-Thon! Kids kept the laps going strong—and even some teachers joined in, running right beside them!

📚️ 🙌🏼 Every year the Rotary Club of Beaverton directs their generosity towards our Kinnaman community and coordinates their annual visit alongside our Scholastic Book Fair. With their help, they were able to give away close to 200 books to our deserving students and benefit our fairs' success at the same time! A BIG Thank you to the Rotary Club from Kinnaman Elementary School! Also, a huge shout out to our BH&W team for coordinating the giveaway within our building! 📚️ 🙌🏼

‼️ Fun and Wild Hair Day! Our staff and students showed school spirit with some very creative hairdos. Go Coyotes! ‼️

🚨🚦🛴 Scooter Town rolled into Kinnaman last week! Students learned all about bike and pedestrian safety-- looking both ways before crossing, listening for cars, making eye contact with drivers, using crosswalks, stopping at stop signs, wearing helmets, and watching for reverse lights on cars. Students even ran their own businesses to teach others about staying safe. 🚨🚦🛴

🌲🍃 4th Graders took a field trip to the Hoyt Arboretum. These Coyotes felt at home in the forest under the old growth trees. They saw enormous trees, learned about lichen, and even met friendly wildlife 🐌. What a great day! 🍃🌲
