Our next STEAM Connect Pop-up is heading to the legendary Oaks Park! We’re moving beyond the cotton candy to look at the Engineering and Physics that make this park possible.

If you have a student who is constantly taking things apart or wondering how big machines work, this is the event for them. They’ll meet the maintenance and engineering pros who keep the park safe and functional, and learn about the "Trade" careers that power the world of fun.

We love seeing the STEAM Pathways Coalition in action at the Business Expo! It’s these connections that allow us to open doors (literally!) for students at our monthly STEAM Connect Pop-Up tours. We are just two days away from our January STEAM Connect Pop-Up! We are heading to the Leatherman Tool Group to see how American ingenuity and craftsmanship come together right here in Portland.

This is a unique opportunity for students and families to go behind the scenes of a world-renowned brand and meet the STEAM Pros who design, engineer, and build these iconic "multitools".

A great evening at our inaugural STEAM Pathways Connect Pop-Up, where we offer hands-on opportunities and education for everyone ages 7-77! Our first event was hosted by Fulcrum Construction! We learned a lot about the industry, people's paths to their careers, and we got to see and explore some awesome construction equipment! Fun for sure!
