Beaverton High School will host the optional PSAT/NMSQT on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, starting promptly at 8:00 AM. Due to strict testing time constraints, participating students must arrive by 7:50 AM.

Why Take the PSAT/NMSQT?
-Build College Readiness: It serves as official practice for the SAT. Historically, students who take the PSAT/NMSQT score higher on their college entrance exams than those who do not.
-Unlock National Merit Scholarships: Juniors who take the exam can qualify for the National Merit Scholarship Program, opening doors to prestigious national recognition and substantial college financial aid.
-Access Personalized Practice: Results connect directly to free, customized SAT study plans on Khan Academy, targeting exact areas for improvement.
-Connect with Colleges: Students can opt into the Student Search Service to get discovered by colleges and universities offering tailored scholarship opportunities.
