Last night, our Valor community gathered to learn more about this year’s One-2-One Missions trips and the bigger mission behind them.
At Valor, global impact isn’t simply something we talk about—it’s built into the way our schools work.
Through our Global One-2-One tuition model, tuition from students attending our schools in Oregon, Korea, and online also helps provide education for students at our sister schools around the world. Together, we’re using education to help break the chains of cyclical poverty, creating opportunities that impact students, families, and communities for generations. 🌍
Our students get to experience that mission firsthand. Through One-2-One Missions trips, they have the opportunity to serve, build relationships, and see what it means to be part of something much bigger than themselves.
We added a little fun last night, too! Every high school student in attendance was entered into a drawing to receive $100 from Valor towards their trip—and congratulations to Nate and Nina, our two winners! 🎉
This is one of the things that makes Valor so distinct: when you receive an education here, you’re helping make an education possible somewhere else.
“Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.” James 1:27
