Soulful creative flow The goal was to build a dance studio which would provide authentic dance training in various dance forms and techniques.
Shilpi Creative Rhythm (Shilpi meaning “Artist”) was founded in 2014 by Shilpi Chanda when the feeling of sharing the knowledge and fun cropped up and she decided to shelter her passion in the hearts of the interested students. SCR started from the mere boundaries of a dwelling, the vigour for creativity and increasing number of students has led the expansion to a studio based setup. SCR is truly
one of a kind as it does not restrict itself to only teaching various forms of dances but also many other art forms such also makeup, hair and saree draping. From unique atmosphere to the dancing floors, everything was carefully thought out in order to give the students the best possible experience and ambience to yearn and learn. The aim of SCR and the team is to inculcate the art of dancing for individuals of all ages and skill levels with the help of certified and classically trained instructors. Since its inception, the SCR has been providing training and performing shows on various occasions and programs. To enrich the dancing experience of the students, workshops and performances on different themes are organised. Yearly events such as Foundation Day, Independence Day, Rabindra Jayanti, Mother’s Day, Womens’ Day and many others are celebrated. Students may also share their expertise in various fields to be a part of the team in a program and express their creativity through live stage shows. We also provides choreographer for shows, private lessons, personal training, corporate group events, private events and dance dramas.
