We’re a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization housing two Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) clinics that serve those affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder; Aim High Impact and Aim High Ascent. At Aim High Impact, we provide a center-based program for youth aged 7-18 who have moderate to severe symptoms of autism. No matter the nature or severity of a child’s behavior, we can help. At Aim High Ascent, we spe

Meet Michael, our new Executive Director at Aim High! With over 30 years of leadership experience in the nonprofit and public sectors—including roles at Home Forward, the Portland Housing Bureau, and Washington County Housing Services—Michael has dedicated his career to building stronger, more supportive communities.

He’s especially passionate about youth empowerment, having worked in Head Start, supervised group homes, and served on the boards of organizations like p:ear and Janus Youth. As a father, mentor, and longtime advocate, Michael is thrilled to support Aim High’s mission and help young people thrive.

Outside the office, you’ll find him running, writing screenplays (mostly comedy and horror), and doing yoga!

Amy joined the Aim High team in February 2022. She worked alongside the BCBA management team as she progressed towards finishing her Master’s degree. After attaining a Bachelors in Public Health, a Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis, and the required supervision hours, Amy was ready to sit for the final exam to earn her Behavior Analyst license. Amy has a passion for IDD services after growing up with a brother on the spectrum and a mom in the special education field. In her free time, Amy enjoys hanging out with friends, playing & watching basketball, going to concerts, visiting new places, and indulging in all things true crime, including her life long viewing of Law & Order SVU.

Maria joined the Aim High team in November of 2022. She was born in Cuba and moved to Miami when she was 5 years old. She attended Florida State University where she earned her Bachelors in Psychology. Most recently, she attained her Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Capella University. Maria’s passion for ABA stemmed from her relationship with her goddaughter, who is on the spectrum, and the desire to help her and others like her. In her free time, Maria enjoys spending time with friends, and exploring nature with her partner; whether they're hiking, paddle boarding, camping, or snow boarding!

Jade is a native Oregonian and has spent most of her time in Yamhill County. Before joining the Aim High team in March of 2024 she worked as a Direct Support Professional with adults in the IDD community. She also spent 10 years as a preschool teacher! In her free time, Jade enjoys competitive shooting, archery, singing and home making!
