Northwest Chinese Academy NWCA was an independent Mandarin Chinese immersion school educating preschool and elementary students.

Our program is now part of the German International School in Beaverton. We thank our
amazing students, staff and families for the wonderful 12 years. NWCA offered a full-time immersion education in Mandarin Chinese. Our program is now part of the German International School Chinese Track. For 12 years, NWCA students spent their day hearing and using Mandarin Chinese. As a result, our students ac

hieve fluency in Mandarin, advanced proficiency in reading and writing, and an intuitive understanding of cross-cultural communications – giving them the confidence to thrive in a global society.

To NWCA students, family and friends. Here's the 3 year update after NWCA's program became part of the German International School.

Zăo shàng hăo! Guten morgen! As students and families enter the German International School, they are greeted by the words for “Good Morning!” in the two target languages of the school.
