It’s always a good day when we get to pop in to say HELLO 👋 to our fabulous BES staff - BONUS.. we got to explore the ✨ NEW ✨ building while we were there! We are so excited that our students & staff get to grow in this beautiful space 🤩

We got to introduce ourselves, provide positive (⬆️) updates about staff reimbursement/grant opportunities & left some goodies to help decorate those fresh new classrooms. We’re here for you, BES 💯 We’ll see you at the Back to School Bash!

Woo-hoo!! 🙌🏼 We see you Mrs. Sergent!!

A FAMILIAR FACE! Over the course of this week, we're highlighting our new principals and directors. First up is Aimee Sergent, the new principal of Beaverdam Elementary School!

Mrs. Sergent, a Longwood and James Madison alumna, is entering her 20th year in education, all with HCPS! She taught for 13 years at South Anna Elementary and was an assistant principal for six years (three at Kersey Creek Elementary and three at Laurel Meadow Elementary).

"I am most excited to get to know the Beaverdam community and build relationships with the students, staff, and families," she said. "I believe that strong relationships are the foundation of a positive and meaningful school experience."

She added: "I am truly honored to serve as the founding principal of our new school! I look forward to working together to create a welcoming, supportive, and inspiring learning community where everyone can thrive."
