Precious Ones Learning Center

Precious Ones Learning Center We are a faith based child-care center offering Preschool, Daycare, Before and After School care for school age children.

The purpose of the Precious Ones Learning Center of the Beavercreek Christian Church is "To create a Christ-centered, child-focused place where parents, teachers and leaders can come together to provide growth opportunities for children in the emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual foundations." With our purpose in mind, we strive to:
~Help children become aware of themselves as unique chi

ldren of God and see their worth as human beings.
~Help children develop and maintain a positive self image
~Reinforce a child's life experiences with Christian ideals and cultural values
~Enable children to understand the principles of sharing in play situations
~Provide an enviroment conducive to the development of gross and fine motor skills
~Establish appropriate modes of behavior in social situations
~Provide an environment in which the children may develop his/her creativity

Twas the night before preschool, kids tucked in their beds.
Kisses were given, and their prayers were all said.
Lunches were packed- bookbags ready to go!
Seems they were just born yesterday, how fast they grow…

Each classroom was prepped with love and with care,
In hopes that the children soon would be there.
As you drop them off tomorrow, to a new world of fun- get excited for them, a new chapter has begun!

POLC & BCC want to help the local schools practically and will be collecting items for Feed the Creek this month. We have available for you alongside the check in kiosk, a list of suggested items that Feed the Creek uses to send home food items for kids who face food insecurity. Please consider adding a few of these items to your grocery list this week. You can bring them back and drop them in the labeled bin pictured here. Last Friday our schoolagers hosted a lemonade stand to support the ministry of Isaiah 117!

They made signs, helped bake cookies, and made lemonade to share with our community. We are so glad that they were able to serve others in this way!

Hi everyone! My name is Miss Mary, and I am so excited to step into a new role as the Director of POLC! I have been a teacher here for the past four years in the Toddler classroom, as well as floating throughout the preschool hallway in the summers. I have always had a love for children as long as I can remember, and I am incredibly thankful that I get to use those skills here at POLC, loving on your children and families. I also attend church here at Beavercreek Christian Church with my husband, Bryce. In my free time, you will often find me playing with our dog Archie, deep into an involved board game, or singing Taylor Swift at the top of my lungs.

On Wednesday, we celebrated our Pre-K graduation! We are so proud of each and every student and all they’ve accomplished this year. We know they are going to do amazing things in their next chapter.

Today we wrapped up our Teacher Appreciation Week with BLUE day and a sweet ice cream bar in the café! 🍦💙

As this special week comes to an end, we just want our incredible teachers to know how deeply appreciated they truly are. Thank you for the endless love, patience, encouragement, and care you pour into our students each and every day. The impact you make reaches far beyond the classroom walls, and our school is a brighter, happier place because of YOU.
