🎃🍂 A PUMPKIN PATCH KIND OF DAY! 🍂🎃

Ms April, Ms Gabi, and Ms Sydney’s classrooms had the BEST day at Cheesman Pumpkin Farm! 🧡

Our students enjoyed a hayride to the pumpkin patch, picked out their very own pumpkins, watched a short film about pumpkins, enjoyed lunch together, and listened to two fun pumpkin-themed stories! 📚🚜🎃

We even managed to hold off the rain for most of the hayride! 🌦️ The smiles, memories, and excitement made it a wonderful fall adventure for everyone! 🍁

A big thank-you to everyone who helped make this special day possible! We’re so grateful for opportunities like these to learn, explore, and make memories together. 🧡🎃🍂

Just one of the AMAZING vendors that will be at our Craft Show!! Plan on coming out to the CCBC DOME on Saturday, October 24th!

🩷🐾 I decided to still do the New Horizon craft show coming up on the 24th. It will be my last in person event till I get a little more organized and a little more healing in.

🐾 I wanted to try to make some merch for the school…. What do you guys think???

🐾 I am going to do a few more things and let me know what you think and what you would like to see there!

Today room 183 made the most of a rainy day, and instead of the pumpkin patch, they headed to Chic Fil A for lunch! Students practiced waiting their turn, ordering their meals and paying for their food. After a delicious lunch, everyone got to have some fun playing in the jungle gym area at the restaurant. It was a great day after all!

Our Girl Scout Troop had the best time at their first meeting of the year! They started off by reading the book "Here Come the Girl Scouts" a cute story about how Girl Scouts started. The ladies then learned about the Girl Scout Law. They went over each law, talked about how they can show that they are being good Girl Scouts, and made a cute Girl Scout vest craft showing the parts of the Girl Scout law. 💚⛺️

Miss Gabby and Miss Carla’s students had a great CBI experience this week at Adoption Connection, PA in Beaver, where they had the opportunity to help with both the Community Family Closet and various office tasks!

The Community Family Closet is an outreach program of Adoption Connection, PA that provides new and gently used clothing, toys, baby supplies, hygiene items, diapers, wipes, and other family essentials to those in need — free of charge and based on availability.

Our students jumped right in and worked hard! They helped sort and organize clothing by size, gender, and season, clean and sanitize toys, complete office and clerical tasks, and assist with other jobs needed to help keep the program running smoothly.

These experiences give our students the opportunity to practice important workplace skills while also giving back to an organization that does so much for families in our community. We are incredibly thankful to Adoption Connection, PA for welcoming our students and providing them with such a meaningful hands-on experience!

We are so excited about this partnership and look forward to continuing to work together!
