If you were NOT there, You missed several milestones.
Bex stepped up as Toastmaster for the evening and Gloria knocked it out of the park with her first ever Speech Evaluation.

I was expecting several guests to arrive, but we were blessed with Aakif who came to check us out. Very nice, he seems to have a lot of potential and promise. We will certainly see him again.

That's the thing about Toastmasters, We are Flexible, Dynamic, Creative and Fearless.

You might visit one night and say to yourself... I'll just hang back and make like wallpaper.... pretty good so far.

Then you watch a bit of the meeting and notice that people are doing things you have never seen before AND they are not pulling back a bloody stump at the end.... Hmmm, your inner self says to your outer self. That looked like something I could do.... maybe next time...

Come out and play in our sandbox, where Life is Good.

Another great example of how the Beaver Toastmasters Experience can take you to another dimension in the movie sense. No we are not clingy, no, we won't invade your personal space, but we will treat you with respect and prop you up with guidance, quality evaluations, support beyond what you might expect from some large, multinational organization, we are here, we are local, we care about you and your goals and vision for your future.
