The AMERICAN CHRISTIAN HONOR SOCIETY students are invited to participate in the Teacher Prep Assist Day next Monday thru Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. This will be an opportunity to earn early points for the '26-'27 school year. Students may help as they can, but a minimum of two hours is required to receive points for the day. Please contact Mr. Robinson at the school if you are able to attend.

FOURTH GRADE TEACHER ANNOUNCEMENT ... Mrs. Wendy Robinson has offered to teach the Fourth Grade this year at VBA. She is a capable teacher who has previously taught 1st and 2nd grade in Michigan and Indiana. She will love and educate these students well. She will continue in her role as Business Manager and Guidance Counselor. PTL for answered prayer. We are anticipating a great school year.

Today we finished the remodeling of three rooms including the fourth grade classroom, Mrs. Rhonda Thomas’s new classroom, and a Conference Room at VBA. We are still praying for the Lord’s will concerning a fourth grade teacher and a part time custodian (15 to 20 hrs. per week during the school year).

The new carpet is down in the two classrooms and in the middle hallway. Everything will be moved back into them tomorrow. We have been blessed to systematically improve our facilities and campus over the years. God is good.

WV SALES TAX HOLIDAY ... We encourage our families to take advantage of the sales tax holiday this Friday, July 31 - Monday, August 3. It is a great opportunity to save on a number of products and clothes for the school year.

VBA Alumnus and Attorney at Law, Mark Fizer, will be a speaker at this year’s WVCEA Teacher’s Convention.

We’re pleased to welcome Mark Fizer, Attorney at Law and Legal Counsel for WVCEA, as a workshop speaker at this year’s convention — September 17-18 at Appalachian Bible College!

Mark will be presenting on:
• Civics/History: Merging Natural Law into the Constitution
• Understanding Government’s Role in Education: At the Signing of the Constitution and the 14th Amendment

These sessions will equip Christian educators with a deeper understanding of the constitutional and historical foundations that shape education today. We hope to see you there!

As of 1:00 p.m., Mr. David Robinson, is officially retired from the ministries of Victory Baptist Church, Beaver, WV and Academy. We are grateful for his thirty-eight years of loyal service to the church and school. He served as Business Manager, Principal, Teacher, Tutor, and Candy Man. He is loved by many and his kindness, influence, and knowledge will remain for years to come in the lives and hearts of the VBA community. Happy Retirement!
