I hope everyone has had a great summer! I know it has been a busy one! Summer band practices start up August 10th to prepare music for football games and parades! This will include 8th grade marchers selected and CTC band students. Attached is another copy of the schedule that went home with students at the beginning of May.

It is updated with the Meet the Teams date and a change to participate in Waverly’s Band Show at the end of October!

Sports kiddos - we will work together with any overlaps in practice times. Please communicate early and be organized! High School Football players will do parades only and should come to summer practice to learn music with everyone as long as it does not overlap with your practice.

If you know of anyone not in Remind - please share and get them added! Also turn on your notifications because it’s been a while since we’ve used it!

The Eastern Eagle Band has a busy couple of weeks coming up! Please look carefully over the schedule and calendar.

We need our musicians here and performing their best for the end of the year and have our band trip to look forward to at the end! We are all tired but let’s end strong🦅🎶🤎

This week:
Thursday May 14th Marching Band 3-4
This includes all high school, CTC and new 7th and 8th grade members!

Friday May 15th - Senior Scholarship Applications Due to Mrs. Stephan by the end of the school day.

Next week:
Monday May 18th - Band Banquet 6pm in Cafeteria (includes marching band from this past year). We will have a brief meeting regarding the band trip following awards.
Menu: Spaghetti Salad and Breadsticks

Tues-Thurs. 5/19-21 - Marching Band Parade Practice 3-4pm

Sunday May 24th - Commencement Band (includes new 7th grade marching members and 8th grade)
Dress Up - seated by 1:30pm

Monday May 25th - Stockdale and Beaver Memorial Day Parades (see calendar for times)

May 28-29th Spring Band Trip Grades 8-12

Art Show 5-8pm
Spring Band Concert Grades 6-12 in Gym (begins at 6:30pm featuring: Jazz Band, 6th Grade, 7th and 8th Junior High Band and High School Concert Band)
6-12 Band students should report between 6:10-6:15pm to the Band Room.

Thank you everyone for a great flower sale and thank you Marvin’s Gardens for your support of our Eastern Eagles band program!! Any flowers that weren’t picked up remain in the band room and students will receive them tomorrow!
