I teach musicians of all ages, from beginners to advanced. I also teach preschool age children as well as adults. As a member of the Pittsburgh Piano Teachers' Association, I offer many opportunities for students to enhance their skills in theory, technique, and performance. Testing, competitions, and recitals, which help develop skill, are also offered to my students. Each student is welcomed and
allowed to develop their own personal skill as an individual. Piano lessons are such a foundational way to begin an education in music. Students have many opportunities when they have the knowledge of the piano and music theory. Playing the piano can also be done for pleasure and creativity. It promotes emotional well-being in that it can relieve stress and also allow expression of emotions and thoughts while playing. It also creates great skill and discipline.
