JV boys played in the 1st round of the playoffs yesterday.

Unfortunately, they lost 25-24 to Mary of Nazareth

Our season has come to an end. The SMCA JV girls team played hard this year and never gave up on any games. We finished with 3 wins but we battled each game despite having a limited roster. Thanks to my assistant coaches, coach Pappy (Walt) and coach Brandon. Thanks for parents who supported us all season and was our cheering section. Thanks to coach Tom G. who stepped in a few times and was a great advisor. We celebrated our last practice of the year with pizza and some gym time. Most likely an age gap will keep us from playing together next year as our older girls move up to varsity. Consider playing next year if you are at the school so that we have enough to fill teams. It’s a fun time and friendships were made.

On Thursday, Varsity played in the 1st round of the playoffs against Butler Catholic. They lost 36-21.
