Peep full interview with Mimi Cleckley from Fixing My M'fing House Again

Thinking above the line EP. 17 The UNBREAKABLE with Mimi Cleckley.

Mimi Cleckley is unbreakable, and this conversation shows you why.

She talks about childhood without love and figuring out what love looks like when you've never had it. She talks about abuse, neglect, and deciding not to let it write the rest of her story. She talks about going viral because she told the truth, about buying a fixer-upper, and about doing the work with her own hands while raising a child.

I sat down with Jordan Foust for Thinking Above the Line to ask Mimi how she did it. Not the headline version. The steps. The decisions. The moments she almost quit and didn't.

Mimi is one of our ImpactFluence students at Black Action Network Committee (BANC) in Beaver Falls. Her brand is Fixing My F***ing House Again, and if you've followed her journey, you already know the honesty is the point.

If you've been through something and wondered whether you could come out on the other side, press play. Then share it with somebody who needs it.

Behind every statistic is a family, a story, and a life forever changed. đź’”

Gun violence doesn’t just take lives ,it leaves an unfillable void in the hearts of those left behind.

These are the stories that deserve to be heard. The conversations we cannot afford to ignore.

Sometimes we hurt people without ever realizing it. You may have been joking. You may have never intended to make someone feel small, embarrassed, or excluded, but that doesn’t mean the hurt wasn’t real.

That’s why self-reflection matters.

Take a moment to think about how your words and actions may affect the people around you.

And if you realize you’ve hurt someone, even unintentionally, don’t get defensive. Listen, acknowledge it, and apologize.

Sometimes, the simplest things carry the most meaningful stories. 👟✨

One pair of Chuck Taylors, one moment, and a story worth sharing.

Watch the story behind the shoes, because your story deserves to be told with purpose.

Your story isn’t just something you tell, it’s part of your brand.
People don’t connect with products or services. They connect with the person, purpose, and story behind the business.
Stop hiding what makes your brand different. Start creating content that gives people a reason to know you, trust you, and remember you.
Your story can build connection. Your content can build influence. Your brand can build impact.
Don’t just sell what you do. Show people why it matters.
