The reason we are so captivated by Bluecoats ’26 is the sense of connection we felt to the production.

It grabbed you by the ears and simply would not let go.

Why?

Because it was communicated so incredibly well.

And that level of communication comes from the remarkable clarity present in every moment of the music. Every idea had purpose. Every detail was intentional. Every musical moment was clear enough for the audience to understand—and therefore, to feel.

As we head back to our own programs, imitate their commitment to clarity.

Clarity is free.

It doesn’t require an expansive budget, elaborate props, or unlimited resources.

It requires intention, consistency, and an unwavering commitment to making sure the musical message is understood.

Before we add more, make what we already have unmistakably clear.
