A Little Help When We Need It Most.
Kathy and I have always believed in helping others, whether through volunteering, supporting our community, or being there for family and friends. Now, we find ourselves in a position where we could use a little help.
In the past few days, I’ve faced some unexpected health challenges. What started as chest and abdominal pain turned out to be an infected aortic aneurysm, which required surgery and will involve extended treatment and recovery. Since November 17, I’ve been admitted to the ICU at Froedtert Medical Center in Milwaukee, where I’m receiving specialized care. While the situation is serious, I’m staying positive and focusing on getting better.
This has not only brought unexpected medical and travel expenses but has also resulted in a loss of income for both Kathy and me. To help ease the burden, our dear friends Rhonda and Chris Pamperin have set up a GoFundMe on our behalf.
If you’re able to contribute, we would be incredibly grateful. Every donation helps, no matter the size, and your kindness and support mean the world to us. If you can’t donate, sharing this with others who might be willing to help is just as appreciated.
Thank you for your love, encouragement, and generosity. We are so fortunate to have such wonderful people in our lives, and we look forward to getting back on our feet and paying it forward in the future.
With gratitude,
David and Kathy
