Mother Hen, LLC Our mission is to be an extension of your heart and hands while providing a nurturing environment.

We are a family based, locally owned and operated child care center offering a 24 hr, Monday - Friday schedule. Our staff is CPR and First Aid Certified and current with all state education classes required by the Cabinet for Health and Family Services.

‼️important reminders regarding
pre k and transportation‼️

🐥Lil Red Hen (Hartford location)is a full time pre k center, 2yr (potty trained) to 6yrs of age. We will NOT be offering any after school care or offering half day pre k.

🐣Mother Hen (Beaver Dam behind Wendy’s) is a 6 week - 6yrs of age center. We will NOT be offering any after school care or offering half day pre k.

🐔 Coop (main st. Beaver Dam) is a 6 week - 2nd grade (after school care) center. We WILL offer half day pre k options with transportation to and from BDES via the school bus (morning session only). ‼️if you need half day pre k care and your child attends Wayland or Southern, I would contact the school board and request transportation to Coop.

‼️We unfortunately do NOT transport to BD Baptist church pre k anymore.

We have to adapt to the changes of the economy. Liability, insurance costs & staffing are the drivers of these changes.
We are getting back to the basics of quality childcare. Focusing on improving internal systems that can provide pre k curriculum, education through play and getting our kiddos kindergarten ready!
