Summer Glen Stables Riding lessons from beginner to advanced, most disciplines. Trail rides. Horse training. Horses here lead happy lives. We have trails on the property.

The riding arena is huge and fully enclosed with lots of natural light. There are also riding trails close by for longer trail rides. Our instructor is Terraka Mishler. Terraka has a sense of humor, loves to teach, and is very insightful for the individual.

Heading into September we have a few openings for Saturday Group Lessons! Slots are by the hour, at 9, 10, and 11am. Cost is $40/hour, lesson horse provided. Haul ins welcome, no additional fee.
Groups are small, 2-5 riders, and all levels of riders are welcome. Our arena is 72x216, with premium footing. Use of our(seasonal)onsite trails is included.
We have a diverse clientele, calm, supportive vibe, and casual atmosphere.

Heading into September we'll have a few openings!
-Board/train: 1 stall available. Ideal candidate would be someone wanting to join our community long term, and learn alongside their horse. Slot includes full care board, and 4 lessons/training sessions per week. $1200/month
-Leases: we have a couple horses available for partial or half lease. Includes weekly lessons and opportunities for shows, clinics, and adventures. $300-$450/month.
-Lessons: a few lesson slots are available. We supply lesson horses and teach most disciplines. Haul ins are also welcome.

Summer Glen is a small, family owned and operated Equestrian facility in Beavercreek OR, 40 minutes South of Portland. We feature a large indoor riding arena, top notch care, and seasonal trails onsite. We have a wonderful community that get together often for trail rides, horsecamping, shows and clinics.

First little solo trail ride, all smiles. A very successful session.
The trails are just beautiful right now. Perfect for beginners, or green horses. And a beautiful place to reflect and relax after a lesson, or go for a little hike.

Blake and Rosa had a big day. Their first trail ride. I followed along, but Blake rode unassisted the entire time. Very proud of them both.
