Submit your project for the 4-H Project Showcase by September 15 to be featured during National 4-H Week in October and throughout the year at 4h.unl.edu/project-showcase.

Friendly reminder! No shavings will be provided for swine, goat, and sheep pens. Though mulch will still be provided in the cattle barn. Please plan accordingly! See you soon!

4-H premium checks (ribbon earnings) are now available for pickup at the Extension Office.
✅ Please note: These are NOT sale checks. These checks are for your fair ribbon earnings/premiums.

Important reminders:

Families are responsible for picking up their checks from the Extension Office.

Youth have until October 26th to pick up and deposit their checks. Any checks not picked up and deposited within that time frame will be forfeited.

If someone other than the 4-H member or their parent/guardian will be picking up the check, the Extension Office must be notified in advance.

If you did not work a Blue Ribbon Shift, your premium check is being withheld unless you were a Clover Kid.

Last Friday was Tayley’s last day with Extension, and we’re over here wondering, where the heck did summer go?! 🥹

We have truly loved getting to know Tayley even more than we already did and are so grateful for everything she brought to our Extension office this summer! From helping prepare for fair, taking on the fair chaos like a champ, preparing carnival tickets in the spring, and helping with certificates for Achievement Night, she jumped in wherever she was needed and was such a huge help!

Tayley, we will truly miss having you around! We’re so thankful for all your hard work, your willingness to help, and the fun you brought to the office. We hope you had a summer to remember and wish you nothing but the best as you head into your last year of college at SCC!

Thank you for everything, Tayley! We’ll miss you!! 💚🍀
